When to replace
Streaks or a wet trail behind the tool, a nicked or curled edge, or a blade that has gone hard. Oil-resistant compound holds up to kitchen grease, garage floors and kennel disinfectants.
Replacing it
Slide the old blade out of its channel, slide the new one in. No tools, about a minute.
