Description
What it does
PAF04 is the female half of the 1/8″ quick connect coupling that carries hot water and cleaning solution through your Aqua-Air system. It creates a leak-free, one-handed connection between the water supply and whichever tool you’re using, so an operator can swap from a floor tool to an upholstery tool or wand mid-job without shutting anything down.
Where it’s used
On the solution hose — installed on the tool end of the water solution line, this is the fitting your cleaning tools connect into.
On the AA242 wall water outlet — the same female quick connect is fitted to the AA242 hot water outlet installed in the wall, so the solution hose plugs straight into the wall supply.
Because both ends of the water path use the same coupling, one fitting size covers the whole system — and a spare on the shelf means a worn or damaged connector never puts a tool out of service.

Replacing an existing fitting
Shut off water to the outlet and relieve line pressure before removing the old coupler. Replace the female quick connect any time you see weeping at the connection, a collar that won’t latch, or a tool that pops loose under pressure.
